It's been about a year

It's been about a year since my last post. That is a little daunting.
Nevertheless I am positive this will be a good year of growing, laughing and blogging.

I live in Perth now and am not sure how long I will be here for.

But for now I will give this new city my all, and to celebrate, I'll let you have a read of a fitting thought from Karen Hall.

"Well you know the way I see it, if you're here for four years or four more weeks, you're here right now. You know, and I think when you're somewhere you ought to be there because it's not about how long you stay in a place. how good is the feeling of creating something fresh. looking back and knowing that there is nothing much like it out there. its new its you and things are different now because of your hard work.

perfect. why do these have to cost so much?

for my birthday i will be happy with a basket of lavender ..

can't beat home grown, fresh, health goodness.

i would normally steer away from these colours but this fits with me. its the vase & roses. how good does it look. i wish flowers lasted longer than they do.. but i suppose that is why there are plants.. we all need more flower bushes in our lives
